About Chief Rentals

Chief Rentals was founded in 1994 with a small loan from The Princes Trust.

Initially a Car Rental business operating in Torbay, the business has grown significantly and now comprises two separate but interconnected Strategic Business Units - a Vehicle Rentals division and an Accident Replacement Vehicles division.

The company is a member of the British Vehicle Rental & Leasing Association and a United Rentals System licensee. The Vehicle Rentals division currently operates from two locations and there are plans to grow geographic spread in the next few years.

The Accident Replacement Vehicles division provides accident replacement vehicles to victims of Road Traffic Accidents. The division has exceptional strength and expertise in the taxi sector and is now the largest supplier of accident replacement taxis in Great Britain.
